     We invite you to participate in any of our Ministries of the Laity at Grace
     Church. Many people over the years have contributed their faithful service
     which allows us to carry on our parish mission of celebrating the goodness
     of our Lord through our Eucharistic gatherings and other ministries.

Ministries of the Laity  (Choose from the list below.)

 

     
  Acolyte, Crucifer or Thurifer: Serves at the altar. This
      ministry is for young people and adults.
  Altar Guild/Environment: Helps with preparing the church
      for worship; special cleaning projects, arranging flowers, etc.
  Auxiliary Minister of Communion: Administer the chalice
      and/or bread during Eucharistic worship.
  Christian Education: Leads or assists with our church school
      and youth activities.
  Fund Raising/Special Events
  Lay Eucharistic Minister: Brings Holy Communion to those
      in our parish who are hospitalized or homebound.
  Lector - Proclaims the Word of God: First and second
      readings; introduces and leads psalm.
  Liturgy Committee Member: Works with a team to offer
      liturgical suggestions for special and seasonal liturgies for the
      priests consideration and possible implementation.
  Media/Communications: Write articles and inserts for the
      monthly newsletter and web site; take pictures of parish events
      to insert in the newsletter and on the web site.
  Music Leaders for Hymns: Joins with the congregation to
      enhance our worship through song.
  Musician: I play the and would like
      to participate in the music ministry.
  Outreach: Ministry to the community outside of Grace church.
  Prayers of the People: Leads Intercessions.
  Usher: Greets people, helps with seating, distributes bulletins,
      orients newcomers and has them sign the "guestbook". Also
      fills out the attendance form, assists with gift procession and
      takes collection.

Celebration of the Eucharist
followed by Bible study.
Monthly:
1st Wednesday evening
5:30 PM Potluck; 6:30 OT Bible Study

4:00 PM
Sacrament of Reconciliation

Contemporary Evensong
